Join our family of legacy donors who add bequests in their wills to support the Clackamas Dogs Foundation. With your planned gift, we can enhance and expand services for Clackamas County dogs and their human families. We offer vital, extended services to our local shelter, including low-income spay/neuter programs, emergency veterinary care, training sessions to support dog adoptability, and volunteer recruitment and training.

Who controls how much I give?
You do! When you make your estate plan, you may include a financial gift of any size. Making your bequest unrestricted to CDF ensures that your donation will meet our dogs’ greatest needs. You can simply name a specific amount or percent of your assets, and update your will to inform your estate executor.
Is my gift tax deductible, and how do I get started?
Clackamas Dogs Foundation is a nonprofit corporation with 501 (c)(3) tax exempt status. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the full extent provided by law, and may reduce estate tax liability. To begin the process, simply contact your attorney to include CDF in your plans. Please share our legal name and Federal Tax ID with your attorney and financial adviser for correct recording in your will.
